港大計算與數據科學學院 HKU School of Computing and Data Science Opening Ceremony
香港大學計算與數據科學學院10月24日舉行開幕典禮，會上清華大學求真學院院長丘成桐教授表示，我們需要理解數據和計算結構對人類的意義，並確保它們是長遠可靠的。陸奇博士則認為，計算科學是一種通用的推理、發現工具，並且不斷在演變中，不斷成就許多新的領域。
The School of Computing and Data Science of the University of Hong Kong held an opening ceremony on October 24, 2024.
At the meeting, Professor Yau Shing Tong, Dean of the School of Truth at Tsinghua University, said that we need to understand the significance of data and computing structures to humans and ensure that they are reliable in the long term. Dr. Lu Qi believes that computational science is a universal tool for reasoning and discovery, and it is constantly evolving and achieving many new fields.
